The board’s decision to resume operations on a gradual basis is in line with the safety and social distancing measures put in place by the company to protect employees. With limited production now taking place across most UK sites, senior management will be closely monitoring operations and demand, with a view to increasing capacity and employee numbers on site when safe and feasible to do so.

Both ARRK’s Gloucester and Petersfield sites already had skeleton production operations taking place in response to government backed requests to supply components in the fight against Covid-19.

The board commented: “Resumption of operations, even on this gradual basis, is an important step for the company, employees and customers. The safety of our workforce has been first and foremost in all the decisions made and continues to be so!  Taking these prudent, first few steps will allow us to safely see how things unfold with a view to resuming normal operations in the not too distant future, restrictions permitting.”

We will make further announcements in due course. ARRK would like to reiterate our thanks to employees, customers and suppliers for their support during these unprecedented times.
