General Manager at Nuneaton, Paul Patterson believes this significant investment will allow ARRK’s Nuneaton site to provide an even better service to customers in niche markets. Paul explains: “The new vertical CNC machine, which will predominately be working on patterns and aluminium components, will provide us with even greater part accuracy as well as increased efficiency levels. Furthermore, it will free up capacity across the sites’ other eight CNC machines, so we can expand our range of jobs, such as carbon trim pieces and high value plaques for premium automotive manufacturers”.
The Centre’s newest composite kit cutting table, not only provides additional capacity but also a detection camera for automatic nesting. This optimises material usage and part layout during the cutting phase. Paul adds, “this investment opens more opportunities for our composites business, which is headed up by Andy Smith. Andy has an established history in composites and works closely with our clients to understand their requirements and future needs. These recent investments are all part of our ongoing strategy to deliver the highest level of service possible”.
