Senior Design Engineer (m/f)

  • Design and development of complex structures for various manufacturing techniques.
  • Generate solid, surface component and assembly CAD models.
  • Support / deliver technical presentations direct to customers.
  • Participating at supplier/customer design reviews.
  • Transferring data to customers & suppliers.
  • Production of tool/part drawings for use in manufacture.
  • Maintaining necessary records and drawing revisions.
  • Customer component feasibility, to provide accurate and sufficient feedback to our customers or Project Managers.
  • To provide solutions to problems and highlight all technical issues to appointed manager.
  • ad hoc duties as required by the business.


  • Degree educated in Mechanical / Automotive / Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Automotive or Aerospace Design.
  • Proficient in the use of Catia V5 software. 
  • Experience of PLM systems (Teamcenter / Smarteam)
  • Experience across the design process from concept through to launch.
  • Experience with injection moulded plastics, composites, machined / fabricated components.
