ARRK Shangent
Purchased in March 2000, this injection moulding specialist provides a wealth of production tooling expertise and experience. As one of the director's from the ARRK Group was recently quoted as saying, "This world class outfit enables our clients to receive highly competitive tooling pricing and turn around times without having to worry about all the logistical and communication barriers".
The Sol Plus move into China follows the move by ARRK Shangent, based in Taiwan, enabling ARRK to develop an even more advanced full-line network enhancing efficient product development (Planning, Design, Engineering, Tooling) as a global organisation.
Showa Seiki Kogyo Co. Ltd & Egawa Seikou Co. Ltd
Showa Seiki Kogyo Co. Ltd., previously a division of YANMAR Diesel Engine Co. Ltd., provides product development services and manufacturing support as well as supplying tooling and injection molding for the automotive, consumer electronic and information technology industries. Showa Seiki, established in December 1937, currently has a staff of 75 and has a reputation for quality, precision and product development experience. Tokushima Showa Seiki, a subsidiary of Showa Seiki Co., employs over 170 employees and furnishes a wide range of manufacturing and tooling options, including small tooling for cellular phones and PDAs to large automotive tooling, weighing as much as 25 tons.
Egawa Seikou Co. Ltd., was established on September 29, 1939 in Hashima-city Gifu, Japan, and has been a precision tool manufacturer for over 60 years. The current operation includes 58 employees and a comprehensive facility manufacturing injection mold tooling for plastic products.
Sol Plus
Sol Plus, based in Japan, recently unveiled a new subsidiary in Shanghai, China. The new Sol Plus Shanghai subsidiary, which was secured through 100% investment by Sol Plus, has been established to expand their tooling and volume production injection Moulding business capabilities.
This company provides a variety of services, including; mould manufacturing, printing, painting and product assembly. In less than four years, they intend to offer their own tool design and complete tool manufacturing services.
